Splash Pads in Sarnia and Lambton County
Every free splash pad across Lambton County, organized by community. All of them are free to use. Most run from the May long weekend through Thanksgiving, 8:30 am to 8:30 pm daily, weather permitting.
Sarnia
Tecumseh Park Splash Pad
Beside Tecumseh Pool at the Cox Youth Centre, operated by the YMCA. Pool admission applies separately; splash pad is free.
Kenwick on the Lake Park Splash Pad
Newly opened June 2026. Across the street from Bright's Grove Beach. Covered pavilion, washrooms, gazebo, and tennis and pickleball courts on site. A seasonal food truck is usually parked here.
South Sarnia and St. Clair River Communities
Point Edward Splash Pad
Walking distance to the Point Edward waterfront and close to the Blue Water Bridge. Good spot to combine with a riverside walk.
Corunna Splash Pad
Green space and playground alongside the splash pad. A quiet community option south of Sarnia.
Courtright Splash Pad
Sombra Splash Pad
A charming riverside village. Good day trip if you are exploring the St. Clair Parkway.
Port Lambton Splash Pad
Access to a sandy beach on the St. Clair River. One of the more scenic splash pad spots in the county.
Wilkesport Splash Pad

Forest Splash Pad
Central location in downtown Forest, with open green space around it.
Kaeden's Splash Pad, Arkona
Shaded playground area makes this a great morning or late-afternoon stop.
Thedford Splash Pad

One of the more complete community parks, with a splash pad, pool, and playground all together.

Grand Bend Beach Splash Pad
Right at Grand Bend's iconic main beach on Lake Huron. Great combo with a beach day.
Beaches
Canatara Park Beach, Sarnia
Blue Flag certified since 2014. Nearly a kilometre of sandy beach on Lake Huron. Accessible Rotary playground on site, seasonal food trucks, a bandshell, and paved trails. Check Lambton Public Health for daily water quality status.
Bright's Grove Beach, Sarnia
A quieter Lake Huron beach with great views and a calmer feel than Canatara. Right across the street from Kenwick on the Lake Park and its new splash pad.
Grand Bend Main Beach
The iconic summer hotspot on Lake Huron. Busy on weekends but worth it. Playground, lifeguards in season, and plenty of food nearby.
Port Lambton Beach
A lesser-known gem on the St. Clair River. Sandy beach, playground, and the riverside splash pad just steps away.
Hours and status
Most City of Sarnia splash pads run 8:30 am to 8:30 pm daily from the May long weekend through Thanksgiving weekend. Splash pads in other municipalities follow a similar schedule but may vary.
