Petrolia & Enniskillen Fall Fair

150 years at the heart of Petrolia

The story

A little history

The Enniskillen Agricultural Society was organized in 1876, and by 1888 it had purchased three and a half acres inside the town limits of Petrolia and built its agricultural grounds there. Nearly a century and a half later, the society still owns that land, and you already know it. Greenwood Park and Morrison Field, where local kids play baseball, softball and soccer all summer, are the fairgrounds.

That is what makes this fair special. Every September, the park your family visits all year transforms into the fair your great-grandparents would recognize, with exhibit halls, livestock shows, a midway and a parade through town.

In 2026, the Petrolia & Enniskillen Agricultural Society celebrates its 150th anniversary, and they are marking it with the biggest fair weekend in years.

Homecraft: the whole town competes

The homecraft halls are where the fair's heart beats. Anyone can enter, and hundreds of neighbours do, in eleven categories: art, baking, canning, flowers, golden years, grains and seeds, homemaking, junior, photography, and roots and vegetables.

Entries are dropped off Thursday evening from 4 to 9pm, floral entries Friday morning from 8 to 10:30am, and everything stays on display until pickup after 3pm Sunday. Category lists and the entry form are on the fair's website.
