Adult help is needed for knives, ovens, stovetops, microwaves, blenders, and hot dishes.

Make a quick banana toast with creamy spread, cinnamon, and a little crunch.

You need

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter or sunflower seed butter
  • ½ banana

Easy steps

  1. Ask an adult to toast the bread.
  2. Spread the peanut butter over the toast.
  3. Ask an adult to help slice the banana with a butter knife. Place the slices on top.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy.

You need

  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ¼ cup berries or chopped fruit
  • ¼ cup granola

Easy steps

  1. Spoon half the yogurt into a cup.
  2. Add half the fruit and granola.
  3. Add the remaining yogurt.
  4. Top with the remaining fruit and granola. Eat it with a spoon.

Adult help: Ask an adult to chop any large fruit. Check labels for allergies.

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons shredded cheese
  • A pinch of salt

Easy steps

  1. Crack the egg into a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add the milk and salt. Stir well with a fork.
  3. Ask an adult to microwave it for 30 seconds.
  4. Stir, add the cheese, and microwave for another 20–30 seconds. Let it cool.

Adult help: An adult must help with the microwave and hot mug. Make sure the egg is fully cooked with no runny parts.

Cucumber sandwiches

Cucumber Sandwiches

Make a cool, crunchy sandwich with cream cheese and cucumber slices.

  • 6 thin cucumber slices
