Petrolia

A full day across town, from Bridgeview Park to Greenwood Park

A morning of fishing for the kids to kick off the day.

Pancake Breakfast

$10 per person, free for children under 7. A warm start before the festivities.

Downtown Scavenger Hunt
Downtown Petrolia · 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Pick up forms at the Kids Fishing Derby or the info sign in Victoria Park. Submit by 2:00 PM at the concession stand at Tank Street Heritage Field for a chance to win a basket of summer fun.

Activities by the Optimist Club, Kiwanis, and Petrolia YMCA. Ribbon cutting at 1:30 PM and inflatable costume races at 2:00 PM.

A second ball game as the evening kicks off.

Rock the Park

Live music featuring Speed Wobble and Ultrasonik, plus bouncy castles, games, and much more. Free bus shuttles run from 6:00 PM (watch for the Langs schedule).

Fireworks
Greenwood Park
The day closes with fireworks. Food booths run throughout the day, including ice cream by the Lions and Scouts.

Sarnia

Daytime at Canatara Park, then the evening moves to Centennial Park

Heads up: Sarnia's celebration runs at Canatara Park through the afternoon, then moves to Centennial Park for the evening and fireworks. Two parks, one big day.

Handmade vendor market at the pavilion, concessions on the main field, main stage performances, and free activities all open: hula hoop zone, crafts, airbrush tattoos, face painting, interactive doodle wall, balloon clowns, top shot hockey, a Canadian war plane on display, and strolling buskers.

Southwestern Ontario's largest Canada Day fireworks display, viewable from the beach or by boat on the lake. Rain date is July 2.

Forest

Fun in the Park at Esli Dodge Conservation Area

Kids Zone with entertainment and inflatables, Food Alley with Stutt's Food Truck, Java & Scoops ice cream, burgers and hot dogs by the Forest Optimist Club, and Kineto popcorn, plus a 50/50 draw.
Evening
Music for All Ages
Esli Dodge Conservation Area
A full evening of live music with DJ Matt and Tracey Vaesen, ConArtist, Excelsior Band, Robb Sharp Band, and Elder Brothers. Hosted by Forest's own Tom Hales.
At Dusk
Fireworks at Dusk

The night ends with fireworks. Rain date for the fireworks only is Saturday, July 4.

Port Franks

Free admission. Free drinks and cake courtesy of the Optimist Club, plus a hot dog BBQ by St. Anne's Church (donations welcome). A relaxed midday gathering for families.
